Proper retiring of U.S. Flags

This information is from a neighbor at Moon Shadows.

Hello, neighbors (and beyond):

If your household is in possession of an old, faded, or damaged flag, you can drop it off at Advanced Disposal between now and September 11th for a proper retirement, as per the time-honored code- at no cost to you.

Here is their website: AdvancedDisposal.com/FindAFacility (to find a location closest to you) and their customer service number, in case you require more info (888) 443-1717.

Also,

Your local American Legion is accepting and will accept any flag you do not want, to properly retire it. They retire flags each year on Flag day which is coming up on June 14th. Our American Legion is located off Whitewood, just south of M36. They will be more than happy to accept them.
